Health Screening Day – Thursday, December 13th – Note from the Nurse

  Parents,                   Health Screening Day is coming up on Thursday Dec. 13th. Grades K-3 and 5th grade will have their vision and their hearing tested. If your student wears glasses, please make sure that they have their glasses with them on Thursday. If your student wears hearing aids, we will not be screening them for hearing.                   Vision screening is done with the PlusOptiX machine. Super Star Party, Top 5 and Classroom Competition

Beyond the regular prizes, we have some pretty amazing extra special prizes.  The deadline to make donations that counts towards any prizes will be Monday, October 22nd at midnight.  Donations can be made beyond the 22nd, they just won’t count towards prizes. Harvest Dance – Info and How You Can Help

October is a busy month for us at CHE.  Even though we have our Fun Run this Friday, we wanted to get Harvest Dance Info out to make sure you had it on your calendar! Harvest Dance – Friday, October 26th 6 to 8pm, Kids can dress in school appropriate costumes (no weapons please).  We will have both a Photo Booth and DJ!       Admission: $3 for school age children.  Adults Free Dinner:  Slice of Pizza and a drink combo for $3.  Pizza $2 and Drinks $1 if buying separately. Reminder – In School Money Donations Monday Morning

Monday Morning:  the PTA will be at school to collect any in school donations. Tuesday:  Our first weekly drawing for any student who donates at least $20 by Monday at Midnight in school or online.  28 students have already donated at least $20.  Also, prizes will be handed out on Tuesday for those who have reached the different prize levels. WatchDOGS Pizza Night – This coming Tuesday…

WHEN:  Tuesday, October 9th 6-7pm in the cafeteria. Box Tops Winners Announced – Keep clipping…

During the month of September, Crescent Heights families raised a total of $230 worth of Box Tops!  WINNERS FOR SEPTEMBER:  Our individual contributor contest was won by third-grader Ava Haugen-Fengler (who brought in 189 Box Tops) and kindergartener Jackson Hitchcock (who brought in 132).  Congratulations to our winners! SCHOOL YEAR GOAL:  We are making great progress towards our goal of $1,000 and will continue to collect Box Tops throughout the year. You should have received a packet in your child’s going home folder that has an info sheet and a money collection envelope.  This will be the one an only fundraiser for the PTA. We are using the Get Movin Crew again to help with online donations and the tracking of each student’s donations.
