Meeker PTA Executive Committee

Attention all parents with 5th graders! Meeker is asking parents with 5th graders to consider joining the Meeker PTA executive committee for next year. They need a treasurer the most – but could easily split responsibility for another position as a co-chair. Let them know if you would like to help them make Meeker great next year! Please contact them using the Meeker PTA Facebook page or by email,  jerrymms@gmail.com if you are interested or would like more information.

Pennies for Patients Results!

Wow! The ASB team is so proud of our school. By collecting spare change and other donations, we were able to raise a total of $1,021.89. That’s 102,189 PENNIES! Be sure to check out the ASB team’s “Pennies for Patients Results” poster in the hallway this week. It breaks down the exact number of coins we collected as a school (how many quarters, nickels, dimes, etc.).

Everyone did an amazing job showing kindness to our community through this program. The ASB team would like to recognize 1st grader, Ryan Iwaszuk, for an outstanding contribution of over 6,000 pennies. What an amazing example of Husky PRIDE.

Thank you to everyone that participated in donating and helping to spread the word about this awesome program. Together, we are helping to make a difference in the lives of those in our community living with blood cancer. GO HUSKIES!

Thank you!
