Thursday, March 5th: Class picture day. Please remember that students must wear their regular uniform for photo day.
Thursday, March 5th: Kindergarten Registration, 4:00 – 5:30 PM
Thursday, March 5th: Used Uniform Sale, 3:30 – 6:30 PM in the instructional room. Come purchase gently used uniforms for your child! We can now accept CREDIT CARDS as well as cash or check!

Call for Volunteers:
We are in need of volunteers to assist with Picture Day on March 5th. There are two shifts: 9 – 12 or 12 – 3:15. Please contact Rhonda in the office if you are able to help, at 253.571.5539. Volunteers will receive a free picture packet.
We are also looking for one more volunteer to help with the Used Uniform Sale on Thursday, March 5th, from 5:30 – 7 PM. Volunteers will receive five free uniform items for their time! Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are able to help.
Tuesday, March 10th: PTA meeting, 6:30 PM in the library. Please note our special start time so that we can accommodate our special guest speaker, Ms. Toni Pace, Assistant Superintendent of K-12 Support. She will be speaking on Common Core, the new SBAC testing method, and what the selection process will be for our new principal. All very important topics that we know are top of mind for CHE families. Childcare will be provided; we’d love to see you there for this important conversation.

Update to uniform policy for Assembly Days:
Students are now allowed to wear their class T-shirts to assembly days! Approved assembly day attire now consists of regular uniforms, red spirit wear T-shirts, or class-specific T-shirts. Spirit Wear or class T-shirts may not be worn on any other regular uniform day.
PTA Treasurer Needed:
Our current PTA treasurer is leaving CHE at the end of this school year. Pennies for Patients is a service learning project that incorporates community service into the classroom.
Through community service, students learn new skills, assume responsibilities, become aware of the needs of others, and learn the importance of unselfish serving and giving. Community service links students to the wider community and exposes them to people and situations outside their previous experiences.
Your student will have the satisfaction of knowing that their spare change made a difference in the lives of people in our community. Not only will you be helping patients and their families stricken with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and Hodgkin’s disease, but also helping children help others!
From March 2- 20, Crescent Heights Elementary will be participating in this awesome program. All you have to do is collect coins and other donations and put them in your classroom’s box.
