Thursday, May 28th:  Marathon ends.  Be sure to send in a note with your child if they have completed “make-up miles” to count towards the marathon!
Friday, May 29th:  Free dress day!
Friday, May 29th:  PTA School Carnival

Carnival Volunteers are still needed!  We don’t have any volunteers for games at all from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.  Folks, we really need your help.  We legally have to have folks monitor kids on the inflatables at all times during the carnival.  We also need adult volunteers to help hand out the prizes at each of our games.  Please, consider signing up for a half hour or hour during the carnival.  Sign up here http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0b4fada922abfa7-crescent or email crescentheightspta@gmail.com if you have questions.

PTA Year End Dinner:
The Year-End Dinner for PTA is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9th (in place of our regular monthly board meeting).  We invite you to join us at Puerto Vallarta Restaurant in Twin Lakes for a fun dinner, celebrate our accomplishments for the year, and look forward to the new year.  Our new Principal, Sean McGeeney will be joining us for dinner!  The cost is $12.00 per person and is due at dinner that night.  Please RSVP by June 3rd so that we can provide a headcount to the restaurant).

5th Grade Parents:
The Meeker PTA is currently looking for a secretary and a co-vice president for next year’s PTA board.  Currently the Meeker PTA board consists of all parents from Browns Point.  They would love to have representation from all three elementary “feeder” schools.  Here are some details:
Meeker is a different level of commitment:  less time, only four meetings per year
It is a different type of commitment too – the PTA really makes a difference and has an impact in what’s happening at the school.  PTA has a strong partnership with the administration and teachers, one we want to keep and grow stronger.
Lots of positive energy and momentum now
Contrary to common myth – Meeker does need parents and parent voice!
