Husky Connection
Week of 11/30 – 12/04

Good Evening Huskies,

We hope you all had a wonderful, safe, and blessed Thanksgiving with your friends and families!

Things going on this week for all things CHE:BoxTopsLogo

Monday, Nov 30: If you have Box Tops, please bring them in as they are due!
Reminder to our 5th graders:
The 5th Grade Camp fundraiser has been extended through the holiday week! We will be wrapping up the sale on Monday, November 30th. If you haven’t gotten your hands on one of these great, LOCAL coupon books, please connect with a 5th grade teacher or student tomorrow, Monday. Tick Tock! We have books on hand (no waiting for them to be delivered!). The books are $20 each. Truly, if you use just two or three coupons from this book, it pays for itself! All coupons are good through December of 2016. We can also order in books from cities across the country, so let us know if there’s a city/state you’re interested in receiving! Since this fundraiser is officially ending tomorrow at the end of the day, please turn all your money in!  Also, the camp RSVP and parent chaperone/volunteer requests are due as well! Please submit these forms to your child’s teacher.

Monday, November 30th:  Report Cards Go Home
Friday, Dec 4th: Student Assembly, 9:30 am.

The Following Week:
Tuesday December 8th:  5th Grade Music Concert, 7pm

Winter Clothing Drive and The Giving Tree.

The PTA and ASB are partnering on a Winter Clothing Drive. As the temperatures are dropping, we are seeing an increasing number of students in need of warm winter clothes. Please consider donating gently used seasonally appropriate clothing for Crescent Heights families in need.

We are accepting winter coats, hats, gloves, boots, shoes, pants, long sleeve shirts, sweaters, etc. We will also be accepting new socks and underwear. We’ll be accepting sizes 5 – 18 for both boys and girls through Friday, December 4th. Donations may be dropped off any time at the school office.

If you’re looking for additional ways to give, we have put up a GIVING TREE in the school office. There are wishes from CHE families in need of a little help this holiday season. Just stop by the office, pick a wish from the tree, and check out the corresponding envelope from the office staff. In the envelope will be a child’s modest Christmas wish. Simply purchase the item, and bring the unwrapped gift to the office by Friday, December 11. Be sure to attach the slip from the original envelope. We’ll take care of the rest!

Thank you for helping ALL children experience the magic of the season; your generosity is very much appreciated.

If you have any questions, please contact Kristyn Prante at 571-5516.

Have a great week!
