Husky Connection November 16 – 20th
Week of 11/16 -11/20
Greetings Husky families! We hope everyone is enjoying their extended weekend!
Monday, November 16: No School ~ Elementary Trimester Break. See you Tuesday!
Tuesday, November 17: HEALTH SCREENINGS
We need 2 volunteers to help with health screening on Tuesday, November 17.
We need one volunteer for the 9-12 shift, and then one volunteer to help in the 12:30 – 3:30 shift.
Please call Rhonda in the office at 253-571-5539 if you can help out. Thank you!
Friday, November 20th: 5th Grade Camp fundraiser ends. If you haven’t bought a Save Around book yet, please reach out to your favorite 5th grade student (or teacher) to pick one up! Books are $20.00 each, and all of the proceeds help to send our 5th graders to camp. The PTA will also be outside at Parent Pick-up on Wednesday, Nov 18th with Save Around books. Bring your $20 and pick up a book on the spot on Wednesday! We REALLY appreciate your support of this fundraiser for our 5th grade camp.
The more books we can sell, the less we will have to ask our parents to pay out-of-pocket for camp. These books contain all local restaurants, entertainment, and store coupons. Go to the movies & out to dinner and use coupons for both, and the book has already paid for itself!
Our 5th grade sweatshirt orders are also due on Friday, the 20th. If you haven’t done so already, please order online at fifthgrade.chepta.org, or contact Lori Reed at 253-209-3200 if you need to make alternate payment arrangements.
There is also an option on the site to “Help a Husky” ~ you can donate in increments of $10.00 to help fund a sweatshirt for a student who might not otherwise be able to afford one. We want all of our 5th graders to get this special sweatshirt!
November 25-27: No School, Thanksgiving Break
Monday, November 30th: Report Cards Go Home
Have you been wondering where your childs lunchbox or jacket, gloves, hats, or other clothing items disappear to and cannot be found at home? Have you checked the lost and found? It is starting to pile up and the weather outside is getting colder! Please have you, or your child go through the lost and found to make sure they have claimed ownership once again! Thank you!
That’s about it for this week, continue to stay informed and thank you for supporting our CHE Huskies!
