Three Important Announcements from PTA

Good evening Crescent Heights Families, Three important updates for this evening: First – Tomorrow is our first collection day for our FUNdraiser!   We hope that all of the kids have been asking family and friends for donations, and having fun dancing in the process!  All of the details are available at our website, at www.chepta.org/dance-a-thon.  One point of clarification – students do not need to fill out a pledge sheet or bring in any sheet with donation information on it.  They simply need to bring in the envelope with their name & teacher’s name on it so that we...

Husky Connection Sept. 28 – Oct. 2

Husky Connection September 28 – October 2 Greetings Huskies!  Here is what is happening this week: Monday, September 28:  Lockdown Drill, 9:30 am Tuesday, September 29:  Dance-A-Thon Donation Collection Day!  Send in your donations (checks preferred) in an envelope with your child’s name and teacher’s name on it.  Students earn 1 raffle ticket for each $10 they bring in! Dance-A-Thon is underway!

Parents – We are super excited to formally kick off our fundraiser for the year – our Dance-A-Thon! We had a great kickoff assembly today (check out the fun videos that we showed the kids to get them in the dancing spirit here and here). Flyers went home with your kiddos today.  We encourage you to read over them, and find out more information and follow our progress on our Dance-A-Thon page here! Husky Connection September 21-25 Wednesday, September 23rd: Meeker/New Zealand Exchange Assembly, 9:15 a.m. Friday, September 25th: One Book/Dance-A-Thon Kickoff Assembly, 2:30 p.m. Friday, September 25th: Popcorn Friday *(please scroll down for more information) Looking Ahead: Wednesday, September 30th: Family Reading Night, 6 p.m. Thursday, October 1st: ASB Elections Assembly, 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 7th: Picture Day Volunteers needed to help with our new PBiS incentive “store.” CHE kids have been earning “Husky Bucks” to redeem for fabulous prizes. Meeting with McGeeney, this morning at 9 am!

Good morning CHE Families, Just a reminder that today is our first “Morning with McGeeney”.   Please join us this morning at 9 AM to meet Mr. McGeeney, learn about the new PBiS program being implemented at Crescent Heights, and to ask questions!  It is not often that we have a change in leadership in the school, and this is a great opportunity to ask questions and let our new Principal know what’s on your mind! Light refreshments will be served.  We hope to see you this morning at 9 AM!

Husky Connection Sept 9 – 11, 2015 Good evening Crescent Heights Families!  We are so excited to welcome all of you back for another great year at Crescent Heights.  There are a lot of great things happening at CHE this year!  Please help us welcome our new Principal, Mr. Sean McGeeney!  We are excited to work with him and see what great things he has in store for our school community. Membership Raffle Basket Winners!!

Congratulations on an another successful Open House / Ice Cream Social Event! Summer Reading Program Participants 

Please return your Summer Reading Packet to Mrs. Jones. Reading lists can be submitted on a lined piece of paper or on the original paperwork. Library programs your child participated in will also be honored. The expectation for Kindergarten through 2nd grade was the completion of 20 to 25 picture books, either read independently or with a parent. Third through fifth grade students should have read 3 to 5 chapter books to be eligible. Please include your child’s name and current classroom teacher

Ice Cream Social tonight, Sept 3rd, from 5 – 7 PM!

Good morning! Tonight is our back-to-school Ice Cream Social event.  Come enjoy an ice cream treat, meet your teachers, and reunite with your friends!  We ask that you please bring your child’s school supplies to the Ice Cream Social (don’t wait until the first day of school).
