Packet help, Ice Cream Social, Sponsorships and more!

Good evening Husky families!

We are excited that the new school year is just around the corner!  As we close out these last few days, we need your help, and want to share some information.

Help needed:  Tuesday, Aug 29th, 6:00 PM – We will be sorting and stuffing the back to school packets that will be awaiting you at Ice Cream Social.  We need a few helping hands to help us get this project fun.  It’s quick and easy and you get to visit with friends!  If you are able to help, please let us know!  We will be doing this work at Lori Reed’s house.

Speaking of Ice Cream Social, this coming Thursday, August 31st is our Ice Cream Social!!! You can come anytime between 5:00 and 6:30pm. Once you have met your teacher, the rest of the festivities are held in the gym/cafeteria.

Don’t forget to bring cash or your checkbook to pay for the school supply fee and to join the PTA. The supply fee is $40 for grades 1-5 and $50 for Kindergartners (the extra $10 is for an emergency kit kept at the school). The cost to join the PTA is $12 for an individual, or grab a friend and pay only $20 for two people.   PTA members receive a CHE PTA VIP card that provides you with $5 in savings at PTA events throughout the year, and a BOGO coupon for Baskin Robbins, because, after all….Membership is Sweet!


5th Grade Families: You can pay for camp in full at the ice cream social and save $20. Cost will be $140 per camper, but you only pay $120!! You can pay by cash, credit or check. Outside of ice cream social, cash and check only.  After Ice Cream Social, the price goes back up to $140.00.

> Find out about volunteer opportunities
> Find out/sign up for busses with Ms. Hopper
> Find out/sign up for Schools Out before and after school care
> Sign up for Kindergarten conferences with your teacher
> Find out about Cub Scouts

Finally – Our Dance-A-Thon planning is underway!  But – we are need of sponsors for our fall Dance-A-Thon fundraiser!  Do you own your own business? Or work for a local business that would be willing to sponsor our event?  Your donation will be used to assist with expenditures, and support our mission and programs.

We have several sponsorship Levels:
1. Platinum $500
2. Gold $300
3. Silver $200
3. Bronze $100
*Each level will be featured on the back of the Dance-A-Thon T-shirt given to every child and staff member, with the top 2 levels including a business logo! This gives you exposure to our community on over 500 shirts!
