Happy Tuesday, Huskies! This week we are featuring our fabulous Marci Garrett. Here’s more about her:
What is your name, and what grade/speciality do you teach?
Marci Garrett, and I teach second grade.
Tell us a bit about your family. Do you have kids? If so, what ages are they? Do you have pets?
I have two kids. My son Nolan is 19 and is currently studying in Liverpool for his music degree and my daughter Nylah is 15 and in the 9th grade at SOTA. I have one dog named Shyah and one cat named Bailey.
What are your hobbies? What do you love to do outside of work?
I love HOT YOGA and walking. I also love movie nights at home with my family. I also love to travel to new places! I especially love to travel where it is nice and warm!!
How long have you been teaching, and how many years at Crescent Heights?
I have been teaching for 24 years, and I have been at CH since it opened 18 years ago!
What is the funniest thing a student has ever done in your class?
There are too many funny moments to pinpoint one. 😉
If you weren’t a teacher, what else would you love to do as your career?
I had visions of becoming a famous actress!

I absolutely love the kids and families at Crescent Heights and I feel very blessed to be here. The family support is incredible!
