Winter Clothing Drive and PTA Reflections Update

Winter Clothing Drive

Dear Husky Families,

The PTA and ASB are partnering on a Winter Clothing Drive. As the temperatures are dropping, we are seeing an increasing number of students in need of warm winter clothes. Please consider donating gently used seasonally appropriate clothing for Crescent Heights families in need.

We are accepting winter coats, hats, gloves, boots, shoes, pants, long sleeve shirts, sweaters, etc. We will also be accepting new socks and underwear. We’ll be accepting sizes 5 – 18 for both boys and girls through Friday, December 4th. Donations may be dropped off any time at the school office.

If you’re looking for additional ways to give, we have put up a giving tree in the office at the school. There are wishes from CHE families  in need of a little help this holiday season. Just stop by the office, pick a wish from the tree, and check out the corresponding envelope from the office staff. In the envelope will be a child’s modest Christmas wish. Simply purchase the item, and bring the unwrapped gift to the office by Friday, December 11. Be sure to attach the slip from the original envelope. We’ll take care of the rest!

Thank you so much for helping our children experience the magic of the season, and for your generosity to others in this time of need.

If you have any questions, please contact Kristyn Prante at 571-5516.

Thank you!

PTA Reflections Update

We would also like to update those who had partaken in the PTA Reflections Program:
Thank you to all Crescent Heights students that entered the Reflections art contest. Entries that were selected to advance to the next level were sent an email notification. Entries that were not selected this year were returned to the students classroom on Nov. 23rd. We would like to thank all of the Reflections volunteers for their help in promoting the program and coordinating the judging. We invite someone to take over the chair position next year. Please let us know if you are interested, thank you!
