Books for Birthdays
Happy Birthday to you! PTA and the Crescent Heights Library have teamed up to organize a program called Books For Birthdays. Your child has the opportunity to donate a library book in honor of their special day (it doesn’t have to be a birthday, it can be for anything!). A stamp with the donor’s name will go inside the front cover of the book for all future readers to see. A PTA member will also come to your child's classroom to showcase your donated book, read to the class and take your student's photo for our hallway bulletin board outside of the library. Your child will receive a special bookmark as a thank you for their donation.
You may now choose from a list of pre-selected books loaded onto our Books for Birthdays Wish List on Amazon. You may choose a book from either list (click the images below or follow this link here):
Please note:
- You may only choose from books preloaded on these wish lists. Please do not order or send any other books. Book suggestions are welcome by contacting the email listed below.

If there is an option for hardcover vs. softcover book, please select HARD cover. We understand this is not an option in all cases. Some titles will give you the choice to "See all buying options". You must then select NEW and clarify the cover type that you are purchasing. If available, please select the hardcover version. Only new books will be selected, no used versions will be accepted.
- CHE’s address will automatically show up as a shipping option. Please have your book delivered directly to the school. To minimize risk of delays enter your child's name onto the gift message.
- All books on our wish list ship free with Amazon Prime; however, please note that at times circumstances of shipping method/charges may change.
After you have placed your order, please fill in the information below and return this form with your child: Books For Birthdays Letter. This letter is also sent home with the child during their birthday month and extra physical copies are found on our Bulletin Board outside of the library.
