Read-A-Thon

Crescent Heights Elementary PTA has decided to hold a Read-A-Thon this year!

Read-A-Thons actually get your student excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.

Our Read-A-Thon starts Monday October 7, 2024.

About 1-2 weeks before our Read-A-Thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress. 

We've chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read, and helps in the development of stronger reading skills while raising money for our school. Funds raised by Read-A-Thon will go to several key areas: money raised by our 5th graders will go towards their camp and celebration budget, and the rest go towards our Family Assistance Fund, help pay for busses for field trips, and support events at the school like special assemblies and our family nights. 

We hope EVERYONE participates.
